Sheff Utd fans big day

when is Paul Heckingbottom due to actually have some sort of punishment for his antics and red card against us. he had until 23rd feb to respond to the charge and since then there has been no mention of it at all
Didn't he start suspension against spurs?

Not sure about us getting in their heads but they seem to be getting in their own heads at present. They simply don't have a plan B. Blackburn outplayed and outmuscled them on Saturday and all they could revert to was cynical fouling and moaning at the ref.

They really are one of the worst "anti-football" teams I've seen in a while. Problem is teams have worked them out and they've got zero to fall back on.

They make Pulis' sides look like Brazil.

Yes, Reading are poor away , no doubt , but we made them look doubly poor via our play , chances created and goals scored. Plus we did score 2 pens.. it wasn't a 5 open play goal rout.

On 21st Jan Reading lost 4 nil away to Stoke but next home game they came back from 2-0 down to Watford to take a point. They've won the next 2 homes games since , both of them after previous away losses.

Sheff U have not won any of the last 4 away and we know their players are rattled and someone above pointed out the lack of scoring from favoured players over the last 10 weeks

I just fancy Reading to give them a game tonight and prevent a SU win. It's not an expectation , but there is more to hang that hope on than some think.

I think they are a decent, workman like team with some very good players in Berge and Ndiaye but those two are not producing what they did in the earlier part of the season. They don't seem to have a plan B so are looking very average. I don't think it helped psychologically that we completely battered them at theirs and we are very much in their heads. However, we have some very tough games as well and it could go either way. I am not confident we can catch them but, if they lose or only gain a point tonight, it's very much on for either us or Blackburn to catch them. Wil be watching tonight with hope rather than confidence.

We only have 33 to play for. Or maybe you just meant what we would do in their position?
I was just quoting from that other post - in any event I feel we can get 29 more points this season. Our form is good, theres has been a bit patchy recently

I expect third tbh, close but no cigar, however if predicting results were child's play, we’d all be millionaires, it will be a nail biter, and whatever happens in the end, we can all be proud if the worst happens.

You wouldn't need to disturb your tea leaves very much to have us finishing in second Coluka?

I will stick by my prediction that I have maintained since we were 12 points behind. We catch them, pass them and finish in 2nd comfortably

Can't see anything but a Sheff Utd win to be honest, Reading are very poor
I expected us to struggle against Reading.. just because we didn’t doesn’t mean they are not capable. Paul Ince got his winkie caught in his zip and he won’t make the same mistake again. They will have their plan off to a t tonight and everyone will be chomping at the bit to get some respect back.

I’d be starting with Guinness-Walker.. and probably all the other subs too! Tom Ince wants a boot up the asre and I’m not sure where Ovie Ejaria is.. but he’s always looked good when I’ve seen him.

(If your reading incey.. you’re welcome)

I'm thinking 1-0 Reading. Big Andy to score and Sheffield United to be frustrated by Joe Lumley!

If they somehow don't win this, I truly believe the panic will set in without their beloved game in hand. All of a sudden a 4 or 5 point means they're just 2 games away from being potentially overhauled.

Blackburn will have a close eye on this one to

I popped into the local turf accountant, earlier and backed a 1-1 draw tonight
‘Turf account’ such a niche industry! Who knew there was so much money in lawns!

I remember my friend being a lot more mature than me growing up (he’d been around the block) and we both must have been about 11 or 12 having a kickabout when some bloke came out of a ladbrooks screaming at us after he’d heard us kicking the ball against the wall.

I was of the opinion that the drunken chap could go forth and multiply (he’d never catch us) where as my friend thought it better that we moved on.. as not to halt the production of books!

Wonder Years Voiceover
“It was in that moment I knew I was a man, I knew this wasn’t a book factory.. I knew how it worked, I knew how the world worked”

Always been a big fan of both of them.
Same! Big Andy I always rooted for as a real life donkey (Big fan of Donkeys) and Joe played some truly marvelous football for us! Didn't blame him for leaving, Wilder clearly didn't know how to manage such an elite keeper!
