Sheff United - FA Cup tonight

I would like to see Sheffield United turn Spurs over at Bramall Lane and add more games to their fixture list. One eye on the cup and one on the league can only be a distraction and good for us.

On another note, it is good to see Brighton progress and I hope they can go all the way to the final (they are still some big teams in it). I am not a lover of Brighton but they deserve something for the way they have played this season. Both Brighton and Brentford have been a revelation for the Premier League this season and give hope to other clubs.

Same goes for Fulham, playing some good stuff 👍

Last week was pivotal for me, we needed a result at WBA , and a favour from Watford, we got neither.

We won't catch Sheff Utd, we are 7pts behind, plus they have a better goal difference +9 & a game in hand.
We need to win 3 more games. plus hope they lose their game in hand. (Reading away)

Yes they have a few tasty games coming up compared to us, but their last 5 games of the season are against

Cardiff H, Bristol City H, Huddersfield A, Preston H, Birmingham A., compared to ours

Norwich H, Hull H, Luton A, Rotherham A, Coventry H, we have a harder run in.

I want us to make sure we reach the playoffs comfortably, and if Sheff Utd beats the teams around us then fine.

The gap is going to be 4 points on Saturday night. It'll be no more than 5 after their game v Reading. (maybe)

This is far from over
Hope you're right, but I cannot see them losing 4 games . they have lost just 2 league games in their last 13, against us & Millwall.

Yeah , I agree. Hoping for extra time tonight , lots of cramps, then pennas to 21, 22 to Spurs will do me fine
Sheff Utd last week had to rely on the spawniest of own goals by Watford when 2 of their defenders under no pressure manged to flap about and beat their own keeper. See Sheff Utd react like they'd just won the league, after Watford were guilty of squandering two fantastic chances in front of goal about the six yd line. nevermind.
I see Blackburn won last night against Leicester and that's where SU go on saturday. Looks like Bl are back at it with last 4 wins including last night and if they win on Sa will go to within 6 points themselves of SU.
All to play for

Hope you're right, but I cannot see them losing 4 games . they have lost just 2 league games in their last 13, against us & Millwall.
And in that time they have faced 3 teams in the top 8. Us, Millwall and scraped over the line v Watford. They have a tough run coming up

I'm hoping for the 8 men of Sheff Utd to go through after a 120th minute winner, preferably with their whole team caught betting on exactly that outcome.

B team innit. Bottlers. Manager Bottled it . I believe their right CB with the long name starts a 2 game league ban on account of getting 10th yellow card aganst Watford so it's a no brainer playing him . a 19 yr old striker making first senior start. Really ?
