Sex Pistols series ‘Pistol’ drops tomorrow

According to someone who was there the crowd consisted of the normal weekend chicken in a basket brigade, a few of the "Bromley Contingent" and a few others who were aware of the gig and had made the effort to go. The band didn't go down well.

That was very much how it came across in the show. All the girls on the dance floor picking their handbags up and walking away when they started playing.

Hopefully in the future Baz Luhrmann will direct a film on the sex pistols.
Looking forward to the Elvis film being released in Oz ( next month I think.)
 
can remember olga playing with straw dogs at a gig in wingate workmans club, saturday night bingo and olga ... great mix .... he had a 10meter guitar lead and would wind his way onto the tables in the club .... banging away at the guitar in punk style ... reaction was disbelief ... I and a few mates loved it ..... then the showbiz kids started the clubs with now Dr Feelgood frontman Robert Kane strutting his stuff ( Robert Coyle was his name then) about 80% of the audience didnt get the new raw material .... brilliant times
