Seny’s save

It looked great at first, and it was a great save, but his positioning was all wrong so it needed to be. He was at full stretch and the shot was nowhere near the corner. If he was in the correct position in the centre of goal it would've been an easy save.

Not knocking Dieng in anyway. I think he's an excellent keeper.

I just watch the highlights, it wasn't a hard save due to positioning. I love his style. I said to the woman next to me, where is our keeper? He was literally in their half as we were attacking.that is what I love about this style of play, pushing up

Great goal keeper. The first time in years that we don't have to worry about bringing in a goal keeper during the summer.

He's been arguably our best signing.

That said it does annoy me about how Carrick continued with Glover for those 3-4 games that Dieng was fit. Those mistakes have cost us valuable points. Dieng is our best keeper by a country mile. He should have come straight back in.

Absolutely, Glover is sub-standard. Like you say, we could rue those games

Made a big difference him coming back, said how much we were missing him before he came back too.

Just seemed a bit odd that he didn't come straight back in, when he returned, unless he had a knock.

I genuinely think that we promised Glover a set number of games if he stayed during the Asian Cup.

He talked about it being a mutual decision between himself and Australia, with them thinking him getting games here was better for him.

The fact he was straight back in the Australia squad this month makes me think it even more.

Not sure if I think that's it, no club would (should) risk the team for one player, unless the player was worth more than the team and the team had no aspirations. Wouldn't make sense to handcuff the club like that, not saying it didn't happen but seems a little unlikely. Promising players game time is generally a tough road to start to go down.

It was a silly decision by Carrick at the time. It would have been understandable to an extent had Glover been in really good form at the time, but he wasn't.

If Dieng had had started in goal in the games against Sunderland and Preston, we'd probably be at least 4 points better off now, and in touching distance of the play-offs.

Hopefully he will learn from it. You always play your number one keeper, unless they're massively out of form.
