I don't think it's 'professional' to go down easy, but it happens all the time. Thing is a while back you had an ex England, Liverpool, Real Madrid & Man Utd striker as a Co commentator telling his audience he used to practise diving in training, Shearer says things on MOTD that 'the player was clever there', no two big name internationals dare not speak outside the BOX, never speak the truth, otherwise they'd be binned, there lies a bigger problem, looking the other way instead of calling the cheats what they really are, cheats

.................. and VAR only seems to have made things worse. If any contact is detected a penalty seems to be given, no effort seems to be given to deciding if the contact was sufficient to bring the player down, crazy.:mad:
