Went to see Bob Vylan at Stylus in Leeds. After one song he asked the huge(for the venue size) Mosh pit to move back about 10-12 yards on the pretext of stopping people getting crushed. We he had them back with a big gap he said this next song is for the ladies and invited women to comedown to the empty area of the Mosh pit. He delayed the song until ladies got there form all areas of the venue and when they were all in place he played the song below. It was really amazing to see 50-70 ladies Moshing. Well done Bob Vylan. Fantastic concert as well.

Ladies love to mosh when they get to that age.

It’s not my usual style but it’s really good. I bet it went down a storm.
Whole show was really good. Missed part of first support but second band Panic Shack were brilliant as well. Played about 4 or 5 new numbers that were as good as their older songs. All bands playing Newcastle tomorrow. Not sure whether its sold out but if not well worth going.

That's cool Asreadas.
But I think I'm going to divert this into a: What amazing, unexpected, things have you seen at gigs?
back in 1996 I saw Garbage perform at the North Shore Events centre in Auckland, NZ.
The mosh pit was crazy and half way through the set Shirley Manson stopped the set and started shouting at a guy in the mosh pit who was letting his hands roam on women around him. She called him out, pointed the bouncers to where he was and told them to throw the f****** pervert out. I think they gave him a bit of a manhandling as well as they got rid. The crowd, of course, loved Shirley's response and she was rightly feted as a hero.
Then at the same venue, two years later Portishead played. Now you normally wouldn't associate Portishead with a mosh pit, but there was one here and Beth Gibbons was so into the crowd reaction that she did a crowd surf and was carried aloft from the front of the moshpit and back again.
Both were amazing concerts by the way.
Now I'm thinking bout it, I've got quite few more, but will let others tell theirs here.

At first I thought this was a typo, but then I quickly realised that there’s no way our old friend Mr Zimmerman would be encouraging any kind of fun at one of his concerts.

Seen Bob twice, once (with Tom Petty Supporting) which was great, once with Pattie Smith supporting where she was great and he was diabolical.

I once saw something truely amazing at a gig, sadly she was with a much bigger, much more handsome man so it was never gonna happen. I haven’t forgotten though (I’d expect she was never even aware 😢)

Yes Bob was notorious for his inconsistency. Saw him at Earls Court way back in 1978 and he was great. A few years later saw him again and he stunk the place out.

I love the new Bob Vylan single, not so taken with last year's album though. Hopefully next year's will be more like He's A Man.
