So once the window shuts its not over at all.

They’ll keep on spending. Definitely a threat to the European leagues, especially Spain, Italy, Germany, etc. Premier League will be after that if they keep on spending like crazy in the next few years.

Nope. I do too. The "rich guys" owners in the EPL have lorded it over the rest of the pyramid for years.

When someone with truly deep pockets comes along suddenly they're crying off and the whole thing isn't fair. Wanna swim with sharks prepare to get eaten.

I think they are definitely destabilising world football, but I presume their window has been that way for a long time, rather than there being any "sinister" intent.

The Turkish transfer window is always open for a few weeks after ours too.
