Sam Surrige

What is that exactly meant to mean?
I haven't "demanded" anything. Haven't posted much for weeks actually.
You never seem to get that it's ok to express a different opinion to you on a message board. Your opinion doesn't count any more than anyone else's.
You told me to give over basically shutting down my opinion. Just responding to you. Haven’t noticed you not post , think you should post. Rate you as a poster and obviously a huge Boro fan

Let's be honest. Most of the players we have bought or nearly bought get raved about on here. I'm not overly excited about Surridge. I think he must have been 4th or 5th choice on our list. We seem to be doing a lucky dip when it comes to strikers this year. Akpom - unwanted, then looked good until injured, Forss and Hoppe - projects probably selected by Scott, and Muniz (another one we wanted last year) who has still to prove himself in English football. For all the careful planning, we seem to hoping for good luck with our strikers rather than any great confidence that we will have regular goal scorers amongst that lot. In fact, the only one who has done it for us is Watmore but his goal scoring record isn't great. I hope goal scoring isn't another failure this year. We've had so many windows to get it right, but seem to struggle to do so. I admit some of this has been outside of our control.

I think all of our strikers will be expected to return 1 in 3
Muniz
Forss
Akpom
Watmore
Sturridge

It’s Gina be tough to judge those coming off the bench fairly but anyone that’s starts a games needs to be averaging that to justify their leave imo .
I’ve got very high hopes of muniz Hel get double figures .
Forss got 7 for Brentford last time here so we maybe have be happy with around that .
Akpom on 2 but out injured , there always seems to be a reason to stop him pushing on , hopefully Hel come back ready .
Watmore probably won’t get the 1 in 3 and Sturbridge may well be ahead of him should he come . Would be nice if they all got double figures and a bit more than that from muniz

Hot on our tail from Frank the Tank, it’s Sam the Tram! Not a bad signing… should leave enough funds for a summer marquee signing too!

The thing you have to remember is that boro, like all clubs, will enquire about several players at once, rather than have a list which they work down, one player after another - it doesn't work like that.

I'm pretty sure that we've enquired about a great many forwards this summer, several of which we'll work on consecutively, with the final choices being based on value for money ultimately.

Also, I don't have any issue with signing young promising players, that we can develop, such as Hoppe, or to a lessor extent, Forss.

I actually feel like the club has a cohesive strategy in the xfer market this summer for the first time in a very long time.
