Sam Morsy to Ipswich?

East Anglian Daily Times reporting Ipswich have made an enquiry.
He was Paul Cook's captain at Wigan and they feel he'll he made available at the right price due to our midfield options .
Thoughts?

I'm not sure other than the Cook link. We would want money back (although only around 1mil). It's not like we are stacked in CM.

I doubt you could buy 'as good' for the fee we would get. You don't get anything for 1mil.

I know some say 'limited' etc but it will cost more to replace him. Also only a couple of days to do it.

It was being reported last night that Siliki is back on, beleive of that what you will. But I'd keep hold of Morsy, barring having a bit of a hot streak, I think he's a good player. Would he really want to drop down to league one to?

We have Payero and Lea Siliki on the way hopefully (might explain those rumours) so we do have plenty of midfield options. And Malley hasn’t gone out on loan, not yet at least.

I like Morsy, as others have said he’s one of the few who’ll get stuck in, but I won’t lose sleep if he does go.

As others have said he isn't irreplaceable but you do need a morsy type in midfield.

I would be interested to know points haul last season with and without him, not interested enough to work it out myself though.

Same, come on stattos do your thang.............

Do you need a Morsy type though? Would rather an athletic type capable of covering ground and anticipating without having to make niggling fouls. Siliki seems to fit the bill. Hopefully something in it.
