Sam Morsy on Chuba

There you go then, no wonder most have moved on. Crooks Wat more and Chuba were great permanent signings by Neil 👍
Crooks was a great signing if you want to finish mid table, Watmore was a stop-gap signing who shone initially due to the rest of the team being so poor, and Chuba was naff all to do with Warnock!

Neil wasn't given any money !!!! Crooks was £750k

Crooks isn’t good enough for a play off side, Chuba he bombed him out and Watmore isn’t good enough for a play off side either, good lad, great value for us and had his moments but not the level we want to be at

Chuba was 2.3m and 25k/week
My response was to Ironops who said Chuba was "naff all to do with Neil"
Neil didn't want Payero and was proved right...
Like I've said, if we had given Neil some money to sign the players he wanted we would be kicking of in The Premier League next season 👍

We wouldn’t, he played basic football

Warnock fashions a collection of waifs and strays into a team capable of challenging for promotion through organisation and teamwork.

The remit we have at the minute is that we buy staggeringly talented footballers for a pittance and sell them on for a profit and play fancy **** football.

The first plan is way more suited to us as a club than the second. Yet the second is working brilliantly for us. Or at least it was until Coventry.

Hiring a man who is brilliant at the first option and then asking him to do the second is daft.

Thankfully we are now going all in on one plan. It's better to go all in on a poor plan than have a half way house with two ends of the horse pulling in different directions.

The Warnock plan can work short term, but is unsustainable. You can’t survive these days in the prem playing long ball, kick and rush, spoiling football. You can get up though, just.

You are also unlikely to make much headway with signing good footballers and making profit on them. If they don’t get to showcase their ability no one will pay big money to sign them. In fact ballers generally won’t sign for you.

The Carrick model worked for Fulham, Brentford Norwich in recent years. Good scouting, let attacking players loose, buy low sell high.

It’s exactly what we should have done 10 years ago instead of the Scottish experiment, or 5 years ago instead of monks sign everyone we can and throw them on a field and let them figure out how to play.

Hope Akpom stays and rips Huddersfield to bits next season
I couldn't give a toss what he does against Huddersfield, but he's already made a fool of Warnock when it comes to their relationship.

Warnock's had his day, he was replaced by a better manager, who was a bag of ***** but a bit younger. The club now has a better manager than either of them will ever be, we hope, but it's looking promising.

Can’t disagree

This x 100

I do not get the adoration that this serial failure gets from some on here. Yeah he did a job to keep us up. But I honestly think that we wouldn't have gone down even if we'd stuck with Woody. Then there was the tiresome trashing of referees and persistent public blaming of individual players following defeat.

Utter rubbish

NW teams have bottle and are up for a fight.... Under MC we have found consistantly good performances with flair and skill. Maybe we need a bit of steel adding to the mix. BTW I believe we would have beated Cov and Luton with Ramsey fit

Of course we need a bit of steel, we didn't have it when the chips were down....
Somebody call Neil Warnock he wood have nown what 2 do

Absolute horse dung

what money has carrick had to spend? Carrick has got the best out of the players he has had and worked with the club and not thrown his toys out coz he didn’t get the players he wanted, or wanted to buy a load of dross like Warnock did.
