Sam Greenwood

I had him to score in my bet builder today. Saw enough of him on Tuesday to see he loves a shot out of nowhere and that’s exactly what he produced.

It took Ramsey a start or two to get going with us, hopefully looks like the same is happening with Sam
 
Its still early days. Early in the game he picked up the ball in the area after a good build up, and he simply did nothing with it before eventually being tacked. That was frustrating. Anyway, I am happy to see him score and hope that we have found a decent player.
 
What's his loan / contract position? Is he full season and that's it? Do we have any options to make it permanent?

He's growing into the role without being outstanding so far. I'd be a lot happier with him getting minutes if we've got the option to sign him.
 
The thing I love about his goal is how early he hit it. Looking at the view from behind the goal their keeper just never got set til it was past him.
 
Great instinctive finish (what a run and left footed cross/pass from Dael Fry) and has a nasty side and this team needs a bit of that.
Got a bit further forward as the game went on and best performance thus far.

*thought Coburn was terrific, bullied their CH's and set the tone.
 
I like how he constantly tried to win the ball from their players in their half.

One of our weaknesses last year was that we were poor when we didn't have the ball.

Greenwood has looked very hungry in the last 2 games and I like that.

Just read all of that.

Grown adult blokes on a message board saying how much they’d like to smack a footballer for celebrating a goal.

And then moaning about our players apparently acting like fannies after scoring.

Embarrassing 😂
 
Hopefully, his confidence will continue to grow now as he looks like a really good player.
