Safe standing green light

It will be interesting to see the revenue projections.
A stadium currently selling out will add revenue.
For the rest -
Lower ticket prices might attract a few more.
Others will take opportunity to ‘trade down’
Plus you have the capital cost

There is probably something to learn from how the others fared financially.

Of course it will !

If not, seat prices will rise......prices for standing will not come down 🤨

Real standing as we knew it (Holgate, South Terrace, Boys End) will never come back unfortunately ☹️

Depends if you can get a squeeze! It should be a couple of quid cheaper I say in hope.
There is no squeeze that’s the point it’s exactly the same as seating one seat one person.

As above this romantic notion that old school standing is to come back people are going to be disappointed.

Why are Rugby Clubs allowed terracing such as St Helens new ground and the redeveloped Headingley then?

Who has the largest standing terrace in leagues one, two or the conference .. Peterborough?

Because it’s rugby

Why can you drink alcohol at rugby crickets games etc.

Its 2022 youd think football would have lost this tag by now but the pitch invasions last season proved that some things will never change.

If the Hillsborough disaster hadnt happened would we have seen so many new stadiums being built?

Ayresome Park in 2022 wouldnt have been fit for purpose or the likes of Roker Park or an undeveloped SJP

It’s not a tag it’s in law.

Football is different

You should not jump to the conclusion that rail seating would be cheaper for fans.
Rail seats can cost far more than ordinary seats to buy and insert. It can result in a slightly smaller capacity. Safety officers can ask for seats to be removed to have wider aisles.

We will see rail seats when we travel to Cardiff. There is rail seating in the away end, where you truly have a choice to sit or stand.

It is about choice and safety but is unlikely to mean cheaper pricing for fans.
