I saw your PSB songs - good mix.I’ve posted some PSB on the 80s thread. Would post some more of their obscure stuff but it’s a bit self indulgent.
Deep down there are some good people on here.
It’s a shame this place gets bogged down with the same half a dozen posters posting the same old Marxist left wing drivel and anti Tory bile on every post they see fit.
I tried to kill myself last night. Put a belt around my neck and tied it to the bed. I’m so hopeless I can’t even kill myself properly.
Ps I’m 52 and I’ve never voted conservative.

Messing around on aeroplanes sums it upI saw your PSB songs - good mix.
My wifes uncle a lovely bloke (we always think he is the real life inspiration for the Jamie Bell character) is a dancer on quite a few PSB videos. He did a bit of a tour with them.
You can see him mostly on single/bilingual.
When asked about it he said oh its mostly messing about on aeroplanes. He has some great stories to tell. Appeared in Hair on stage in the 60s (the first performance that my wifes Gran went to see him in, goodness knows what she must have thought).
His first job out of the acadamy of dance was the Raymond Revue bar, sitting naked on a swing I think.

To be honest I could list hundreds of their lesser known songs! paninaro and Willo the Wisp are both superb. I like the video for Paninaro 95 for entirely shallow reasonsI still think Paninaro is my favourite lesser-heard PSB song, although I do love Wiil-o-the wisp from Hotspot too.
It’s probably the album that cemented my love of them back when I was at school!Did you ever listen to the album called disco by pet shop boys?
I think it’s probably one albums I’ve listened to most and is ridiculously good
Oh yes.I used to have a boots the chemist double tape recorder (if you can remember them) and I used to play disco all the time
I do like pet shop boys beyond just that album and have seen them live
But nobody ever seems to have heard of that album. The synth horns are
Never seen that before !!I don’t know if you remember flight of the Concordes?
Not as good as Foo Du FaFa, but a very well-observed pastiche nevertheless!I don’t know if you remember flight of the Concordes?
PSB covered je taime in the 90s but I can’t find it onlineI don’t know if that’s a serge Gainsborough homage
But ballede de melody Nelson is also an album I really like
I always have a look in record collections for it on vinyl
That’s been serialised on Netflix hasn’t itI don’t know if you’re a reader but honestly these were amazing. You can probably still buy in WH Smith and definitely online
