Rumour on One Boro re Warnock and if we lost today

I'm not sure that's a fair question. Anyone who was complaining at the time he was hired was hounded by the board for being overly negative, not giving the new manager a chance, not getting behind the team etc.

Besides that fact, we're all armchair fans, not professional football 'experts'. I think we can reasonably expect those in positions of power at the club to be making better decisions than we ourselves could? Therefore, I think it's perfectly reasonable to hold SG to account no matter what the fanbase as a whole did or did not think.
Look I didn’t want the guy in the first place and was on record saying as such and nobody was hounding me for that opinion. I just wouldn’t care. Yes ok perhaps I am being unfair that Gibson shouldn’t get crticism for bringing him in but he did, he invested to support that decision and as it’s turned out it’s probably the wrong one as it hasn’t worked out.

I was told by someone last night who works for the club (can’t say in what capacity) that Warnock had the next two games, and also heard the same from an ex player at golf this morning. We’ll see.
Really? Wow. Surprised to read this, I thought Warnock’s job was as secure as they come regardless. He certainly doesn’t come across as a manager under pressure.

Who comes in? It's all very well saying "Warnock out" but after nearly 15 years of poor management decisions, do we trust SG to bring the right man in? Who might it be?
If it does happen the new manager will still have the same players to try and get a tune out of I mentioned Mogga's decision with not playing Varga at right back.

I can imagine a similar situation happening here with Paddy McNair

How many were complaining when we hired him though?
Not many, he kept us up, but if he hadn't gambled on Woodgate that wouldn't have been necessary. I actually thought he got Garry Monk right at the time....god knows what happened behind the scenes there?

It is getting embarrassing NW talking about referring today. He couldn’t fault the players either.

He kept us up after Woodgate and I will always be grateful for that, relegation would have been a disaster for us then. We can’t afford to let this season just slip away and as things stand that is what is happening.

Thanks Neil but it’s time to go.

........... and so the cycle continues.

Aye, doesn't sound like Warnock is off anywhere for some time yet. Absolutely sick and tired of the malaise we're in and feel an absolute idiot for buying into the hype for this new season, from the moment we brought in Payero - who now seems to be forgotten and a totally lost man, ineffective, can't see what use he has in a Warnock side .. so why did he come? He is only going to become unhappy and want out as soon as he can do so.

We brought in **** loads of players and seem utterly clueless. It's an absolute mess, why on Earth was I looking forward to this believing we genuinely had a chance this season.

The damage is already done for me for top six hopes, laughable to even mention that to be honest after today .. unless Gibson has another trick up his sleeve and acts before we're more than 10 games in. There's a fair amount of names about that are very good managers as we are all aware.

Just can't understand the point of Warnock hanging around now. Would love to know what Gibson is thinking.

EDIT* Apparently something interesting is going on regarding our managers job, but nothing else can be said or the lad will get in bother.

Christ. I'd just thank Warnock and move him on right now.

I will take a random German to the man we have in charge at the moment.

I’d be stunned if Warnock went anywhere before the middle of December.
Sadly almost feel the same. Perhaps not stunned but surprised. I'm pretty sure Gibson is going to let this season just run it's course then Neil leaves. My only worry in this instance though, is, if this season goes badly, very badly .. what that could do for morale at the club, the dressing room and players that remain for the next manager is a concern. The development of the likes of Jones could be a concern in a run-down dressing room.

It's obvious Sporar came on the condition we go up (correct me if I'm wrong, isn't it the same with Siliki?) and there could be a lot of useful players we lose that will be the cost of such a miserable season. Hernandez, what is his contract?? A loanee??

Regardless, I think Warnock should go now and if Gibson chooses to leave him here for the rest of the season, we could risk the worst ie; a battle to stay up again and the spirit within Rockliffe will be crushed.

Poor Keiran Scott will have hell of a lot of work to do in that scenario :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
