Rodrigo Muniz.

Interesting, very inexperienced, I think he has only started 6 games and about 10 sub appearances but has scored 4 goals. Huge gamble, but I've got to say the clips I've seen he looks strong, confident in his ability, good shot, acrobatic. It's very un-Warnock a foreign youngster, but could be really really interesting.

And another. Leo must be Technical Assistant!

Leo will just be chief interpreter and handy Boro biased ambassador .
We need to take an affordable gamble now and then abs would be a good asset should it become permanent.
Delap 18 and this lad at 20 id expect an other experienced striker to be coming in but we could do that in January.

Fulham are also in for him too. The bright lights of London or Boro hmmm. Hope we can somehow get this done, he sounds a talent, we all love a Brazilian

You can just see him scoring the winner against us in a couple of weeks time...

If he was called Gary Bell would it be as exciting? Nobody knows who he is or has witnessed him play. Temper excitement and don’t book Wembley just yet.

Also we haven’t signed him yet. Remember that Payero we were supposed to be getting?

Leo’s passion and love for the club and area should be a big asset in this negotiation. Does anyone know, Why 50%? €4m for half of him, presumably on loan, then another €4m for the rest if promoted?

I think it means that they have a 50% sell on clause. So if he was sold then flamengo would get half of the selling price (I think)

Ah ok. So Boro would only get £50m if City bought him for £100m then 😏
I think flamengo want more like 8 million. Al nasr were offering 4 million according to that article. I presume if someone was willing to pay that then the sell on fee would reduce. Twitter rumours are saying flamengo want an obligation to buy deal and a one year loan

It would be a good deal for both clubs and the player. We get a player at a cheaper initial price, Flamengo reap the benefits if we sell him at a higher price and the player is, maybe a season away from high rewards in the Premier League.

Just get it done Gibbo, if I win the Euromillions outright tonight I’ll even buy him for Boro myself, sorted.
I've mused that too Col.

I wonder where it would fall in the FFP equation if an uber rich super fan paid for a player and gifted him to the club?

You would assume that someone (Mel Morris probably) would have already done it if it was possible to circumvent the rules with fan purchases.

Although I suppose you could buy 10,000 season tickets at a £50k a piece............
