Rob Edwards

He's probably wondering how to beat us, without a dodgy ref decision and us having a full team!

He's a cracking bloke and it looks like he's going to be a very good manager.

I'll be shocked if he's still at Luton in 12 months time.

How Watford only gave him a handful of games, is bonkers. It doesn't surprise me with Watford, but he was one of the few mangers who they have recently hired, who is actually decent.

They have had a few decent managers who failed at Watford. Whilst some of their appointments have been dubious the question mark is more over the club than the personnel. Unbelievably sacked Marco Silva because of a poor spell of results for one.

It seems there is a change in the wind of young British managers and the way they present themselves. My wife tolerates football for my sake but sits up and listens when Carrick comes on the TV and always says he talks well.

Last week we had Liam Rosenior from Hull City setting up his team to play good football and then talked eloquently about the game, praising our performance and was very interesting to listen to. Rob Edwards again came on last night and his interview was worth listening to. His Luton team does play good football but he's got a mixture of cloggers and talent. Again, he spoke highly of Middlesbrough and acknowledged the number of injuries we have.

Somehow, I couldn't see the likes of Smith, Wilder or Heckingbottom praising the opposition to the extent these two managers did. I think the three mentioned belong to the old British managers club of Allardyce, Pulis, Pardew and Hodgson.

Edwards was full of praise to all at Boro last night.. complimented us all on how good we were and said he'd fear us on a big pitch at Wembley.

Result was annoying, but insignifcant.

Those chances fall to Chuba, Ramsey, McGree or Forss it's 4 or 5.

Awful style of direct combative football though from edwards team. For someone whos supposed to be a bright young thing in managerial terms his methods seemed to be out of the bobby gould training manual

Watford is a clown circus/dumpster fire of a club so getting fired from there is no disgrace at all

Difference from Rosenior and edwards is whislt both talk the talk Rosenior side played some cracking football luton were old school bullies.

Doing the best with the hand he was dealt. Doesn't have the players to play the way we do but you cant argue with their results.
