Rishi Sunak's ULEZ Culture War

Range anxiety is something I had before I owned an EV, it soon went within a few months of actually owning one.
This is the thing I'm trying to correct. There are so many lies and mistruths spread about EV that I try to educate people on. This is the big one though isn't it? No one with an EV has range anxiety. Everyone who doesn't have one thinks they will. Big oil has done a sterling job of brainwashing people

Even if it isn't a problem, the single biggest problem is EVs are too expensive. There's no point in talking about total life cost, it's the same as renting vs buying a house. If you can't afford the initial purchase then any potential savings in ownership are irrelevant.

Like any new tech, they are more expensive to begin with, and, over time, they come down. It keeps getting better. 2nd and 3rd hand EV market is also growing and growing. Nothing is ever instant, barely anyone used to be able to afford a landline, or a TV, a PC, or a mobile, and yet, here we are.

There is every point in talking about total life cost. Anyone who's filled a car with petrol or paid to replace an exhaust will know this

Oh and it's another smoke and mirrors thing isn't it? EV aren't that much more expensive than their ICE equivalents. Again it's another big oil propaganda to make people think there is a massive gulf
