I knew he'd been really poorly of late but had hoped that the news of him leaving hospital a week or so ago had been good news. Sadly, it now seems it was to spend his remaining few days at home in familiar surroundings with his loved ones.Ah sad news. Only last night I was listening to the Pogues while on the bike. I'm pleased I got to see him and the band, even if it was near the end of live performances at Stockton Weekender.
