Rioting in Leeds

Well you’d certainly hope not, but like we saw in the 80s in Cleveland it does happen. You’d hope social services have learned a lot since then, but poor funding will lead to corners cut, lack of good governance and mistakes. The truth will come out eventually, one way or another
Absolutely! Corners cut on funding….poor appointments into important positions leads to mistakes, not saying this was the case but we need to wait for the facts to emerge.
Clearly a distressed Romanian mother but if she was a terrible parent then 🤷‍♂️
Once again, different cultural values and perspectives leads to a clash of ideals so how does the state approach these types of situations and dilemmas 🤷‍♂️🤔

Kids are not removed from families without good reason
My Mum was originally a primary school teacher and then did social work working with kids who had been traumatised by family abuse, violence, drugs etc. For a few years she worked front line in a bad housing area but became stressed and burnt out herself before moving to a more behind the scenes job.
If they removed kids they were evil interfering chunts, if they left them with the families and then something happened to them they were incompetent lazy chunts. Couldn't win but takes heart now in retirement that she knows they helped loads of kids who were living in nightmares.

Your Mam will tell you in this day and age they do not remove kids as this is the last resort. This is due to the stress and one of the main reason is cost to remove a child and potential if its wrong decision the poor social worker is vilified. One thankless job take my hat off to anyone chosen this as a job

Agreed social work isn't particularly well paid profession so the people who do the job do it because they want to improve people's lives. Its a thankless job with horrendous burn out rates mainly because of huge case loads. They deserve our respect not vilification.

Nothing has changed in that respect. The Daily Mail, Sun etc. do the same today and their idiot readers echo it.
