Right then, I'm off to Manchester to see Hawkwind

Enjoy!

I'm off to the Forum tonight to watch the UK Rock Show.. Seen them perform as a Bon Jovi tribute act before but tonight is a bit more generic 80's & 90's classic rock.

Also seeing them at Northern Kin this weekend. Place is a sodden mess but great line up over the 3 days.

Was supposed be at Northern Kin but I done got the COVID. I don't fukken believe it. Load of mates going. Bolllocks. Trying to see if I can get a refund otherwise hoping I'll feel well enough to at least get there on Sunday.

Main stage on Sunday is quality.

I think it's a strong bill all through the weekend was wanting to see Bill Bailey tomorrow night and my pick of the weekend that I've never seen was Willie and The Bandits on stage 2 also tomorrow night.

Not going as I am out with family tomorrow and mates birthday today. Even offered a ticket.
I would be checking out Diesel Park West, TRB, Ferocious Dog and others.

That’s true. Looking forward to seeing The Sweet tonight as well. Only Andy Connelly left. One it those bands when you see them live, you realise what great songs they made. Maybe not all great but great live in concert.

I remember seeing Hawkwind as a shy 14 year old at the Reading pop festival back in 1972. I soon grew up when all the women stripped naked and danced around in a big circle. It was like the dance of the privet hedges!!

3 on here so far who saw them in '72. Must've been brilliant 👍
Makes me feel young as well 😁
I listened to the new Hawkwind album on the way down here. The Future Never Waits. Well worth a listen, could be the best thing they've done since the Calvert era 👍
