at the end of last season ayling, but hes been pretty meh this season, and Dijksteel is playing his best football for the club

The cynical part of me would say Ayling performed well enough to earn himself a 2 year contract and Dijksteel is pulling his finger out as hes soon out of contract

Say the same about McGree, signs a 4 year deal and meh season

It’s took us 5 yrs to get him looking hand decent in the side and he’s now likely to be off now or the summer .

Definitely need a new starting RB in the summer.

Dijksteel should start over Ayling when fit though, in my opinion.

Both are fine, plus we have Smith on the books who is fine when fit.

I think Smith's contract runs out in the summer and can't imagine he will be offered an extension. I also can't see him being registered to play the rest of this season which is a shame as I really liked him when he was fit.

If Dijksteel is wanting to run his contract down, I suspect he'll be gone by the end of the window, I just hope we have a better right back in place, hopefully Mumba.
