I’m south stand. 60 + ex holgate TAB ( Thornaby lad etc)
So I don’t mind a bit of noise and aggro ..
But ffs can the guy with the megaphone not realise we’re not singing with him and don’t need to be told we’re 3-1 up.
When we scored, some of us like a little who are ya.. you’re not singing etc .. but we were droned out by a guy singing about when where all got to die.. ok whe your 20 but give us a break… read the crowd and enjoy.

What is the nre RF song about dying I was trying to make it out. Last year we had a load of songs for players and akpoms songs were so catchy. We need for of these

What if your first seasons were 2003/04, 2004/05 and 2005/06?

No mention of players or managers .. ok the bit about the mighty boro going up isnt quite accurate at the moment!

This song is too slow and goes on forever. It always seems to kill the atmosphere as nobody else joins in. They just have to wait ages for it to end.
 
I actually quite like the chant, but my Dad hated football and Boro were good when I started following them.

I'll need to properly learn the words to start my one man under the breath chant in the north stand.
 
24,500 ish tonight — lowest gate at home this season.
Average 27,500.
Any flippin encouragement welcome.
Lots of empty seats in other parts of the ground.
That lad with the megaphone is actually an opera singer in his spare time.
We need a tenor sax player and someone who can play the Cornet, perhaps a trombonist too (y)

Without them the place would have been dead last night, but i think a little bit of reading the room and understanding basic football fan rationality is required, as OP says a bit of who are ya and 1-0 to the mighty reds etc when we've scored, singing for someone whose just scored, or someone going off/coming on etc. Timing is everything.
