Remember when Arsenal were struggling and there was talk of Arteta getting fired? Deja Vu for you lot?

The Total Number of Managers and Care-Taker Managers we`ve had in the last ten years.
Chopping and changing hasnt done us much good has it?

I disagree most if not all of those went at the right time or needed to be moved on.

Do you pine for the likes of

Agnew
Pullis
Monk

Etc because I sure as hell don’t.

Just considering how we build consistency of staff, players, club identity, recruitment, etc - with the constant changing of Managers / Coaches in charge of the team?
Managers want their own players, players are on contracts and cant be shifted, some stay in the reserves or see out their contracts, some are bought and never seen. A bit complicated like.

Not all change is bad though

It’s about picking the right people in the first place something gibbo has failed to do on numerous occasions of late.

Agnew and pulis were an insult for one.

I’d still like to see Woodgate’s presentation
then remind Gibson
’presentations can lie’

The only manager that went too early out of that list is Karanka in my opinion. He was our best chance of staying up and was also our best chance of bouncing back up had we been relegated. To sack him and not have a proper replacement lined up was one of Gibson's worst moments.

It does say a lot about the appointments though that we haven't had a manager last more than 18 months since Karanka.

Worry about your own club
Not really any need for that is there?

He's not slagged us off, he's given an independent opinion which I think is always interesting to read.

Because we're more emotionally invested sometimes as fans we can't see the wood for the trees. Although of course we also know the club and what's happening in more detail than other fans too.

Good poster is Bri.

If it was Hoolio now, then fair enough.

I don't think there's many wanting Carrick sacked.
However not really deja vu as Arsenal have given Arteta £665 million to turn the club around whereas Carrick had his best striker sold .

I think he won the cup winners cup at aberdeen if my memory serves. That probably surpassess anything at united, except for maybe the longevity he enjoyed there. He had to rebuild the team a few times.
Personally I wouldn’t say is surpasses the treble they won

Even talk of them potentially getting relegated.

Arsenal stuck by Arteta and you should stick with your manager too.
I don't think replacing Carrick is on the agenda of the vast majority of Boro fans. It hadn't even occurred to me until reading the odd posts on here.
