Ref vs QPR will be Dean Whitestone - his first Boro game since THAT Blackburn incident

Dean Whitestone's long Boro time-out after he missed the clear red card/penalty against Blackburn last year is over, and he will be reffing the QPR game. I'm keen to see how he plans to make amends for that horrific error. But it's an away game in London, so I won't hold my breath.

Make amends, I guarantee he wont do anything of the sort, i am sure he will ensure he makes amends for his career being affected, I smell a late penalty for the hoops in the air

Good luck to him. It was clearly a fair challenge and I don't know what all the fuss was about.

Looking at that photo, it is clear the ball was to Fry’s right and he was actually facing the wrong way at that time and he is stooped down at boot height and simply ran in to the poor wee lad to try to con the ref, he was nowhere near the ball. Whitestone rightly saw through it at the time and correctly ruled out a penalty. Shocking behaviour from Fry. We can’t see what is in Fry’s hand, but rumours abound about a sachet of tomato sauce, The EFL have not as yet ruled out bringing in Sue Gray to investigate.
