I like the look of Oviedo too, he ran Chaldean, the 2000 guineas winner to 3 3/4L over 7f as 2 yr olds has won on g/f going too. The step up to 10f is a little unknown though, but his breeding suggests it should not be an issue on handicap debut. It is a competitive race though as you’d expect given the prizemoney. Balding sending his horse up from Newbury is a likely player too.
I like the look of a horse of Jack Channon‘s (Jungle Mac) it has not run yet, but sending it 257 mile up to redcar for its debut suggests it will go well, it is a skinny price in a novice race though, so perhaps best watched on debut.
