That was the match when Boro scored the first goal I had to wait for the second one before I could get my feet back on the ground.
 
Be very happy with that tomorrow.
Really liked Angus as a defender / midfielder but recall injury ended his promising career very early.
 
Strange game that. They were all over us but every time we broke we scored. It was a superb game. Remember going to Spuds in 1974 and we beat them 4-0 in a League Cup game. But the chances they missed it could have finished about 10-4 to the home team. Chivers missed about 6 chances on his own. Our counter attacking and finishing was superb.
 
Set off from the Buccaneer around midnight...dropped off at the Town Hall midnight 24 hrs later!
Fantastic away day with a terrific Boro support.
WBA, Barnsley big cup games to come, but for it to end the way it did at Molineux was soul destroying.
 
After the match i remember John Toshak saying, and i quote “We never do well against defensive teams” 🤣
 
Although it was top-tier vs 2nd tier, Swansea were on form, whereas we were not so confident, being without Johnston and Armstrong. No doubt that's why it was picked for MotD.
 
How the hell didn’t the keeper save that falling back over head kick thing? He was on his line and it was straight at him!
