Red Faction??? Was there a boycott?

I’m going to start one called Middlesbrough Rainbow Breakdown To The South Moon Army 2020. Only I can be on it though, in case it gets too big.
That’s a shame.. I was going to apply to join. It’s about time we had some fan representation! MRBTTMA has already started with so much honesty and transparency.. it would be a shame not to keep the ball rolling.

They speak so well of you too HM

But they don’t have to explain their actions to you, me or anyone else, they stand alone and apart?
And that's absolutely fair enough - but they then can't have it both ways when they appeared to be petulant knobheads boycotting over the pyro incident (which they got a lot of stick for) when actually it was something different.

They've also come today and explained their actions, so......🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Like I said, they've made their point so hopefully everything gets "back to normal".

i was told that the Rf absence relates to the Bristol City game when both sets of fans had banners in support of the BC manager who's baby son had just died. The boro RF banner was then given to the BC fans but via going over the bollards and round the side of the pitch to the away end. the RF members were then banned by the club for encroaching onto the pitch

I'm starting my own fan group called Block21 faction. There is a problem though, I sit in Block88
That’s ok because the Red Faction don’t wear red anymore do they since they became all German.

As for the lad putting the flag in the Bristol City end, this is the very same lad who was openly fighting with another RF lad at the front of the south in the very same game (I believe). He’s a decent lad but they can’t just do as they want without consequences. They are grown blokes we are talking about here, not little innocent kids.

I`m actually hoping Saturday helps us move on

We`ve hung, drawn and quartered Hull and the Riverside atmosphere has made everyone's hairs stand on end, even the baldies have a tingling sensation in their scalps

If we're talking about handing a banner over in support of the BC manager's baby. then they've been hard done to.

If we're talking about lads fighting in the stands.. then maybe not so much.

I mean there's fight and there's fighting.. if it's a bit of an argument.. hard done to.. if it's going at it hammer and tongs.. then again.. no so much.

Not really. If you enter the pitch area you are in breach of the regulations and the club will issue a punishment. Why didn't they ask the stewards to hand it to the BCFC fans?
the regulations are there for a reason, laws are made for a reason.. to prevent from harm and to prevent from loss.

we all know what the regulations are and what the laws are.. but sometimes there are circumstances where exceptions can be made.
the club has already spoken to red faction and talked about a mutually beneficial relationship and about being sensible and policing themselves and using common sense.

in this instance.. there is no intention to enter onto the field of play to interrupt the game or to cause harm it is a gesture of goodwill between two sets of fans and improves the overall atmosphere in the stadium.. it adds something a little bit extra. in this case of extenuating circumstances I think passing the banner over is entirely justified. also I think permission has been effectively by the club going by the guidelines that the club set for red faction.

It’s all a bit silly. Who’s actually bothered?

If my neighbour told me he wasn’t going to mass for a few weeks. Why would I care?
