Red Faction - walking out on 30th minute

I won’t be at the Plymouth game but I am fully prepared to turn over from Soccer Saturday at 3:30pm to watch the Horse Racing on ITV instead. Or a repeat of Del Boy and Rodney on Gold. That’ll show Gibbo.
That's the spirit. I haven't been able to make it to many games these last few months unfortunately. I wasn't planning on going on Saturday but I might turn the radio off after half an hour in an well-meaning but ultimately pointless gesture of solidarity.

I honestly don’t think it will achieve anything, there won’t be a rethink on prices, if that is what people are hoping, I agree the prices are too much for the standard and level of football and this maybe a final straw for some people and it could actually reduce revenue for the club but I don’t think there will be an about turn on it.
You don’t know if you don’t try. Maybe other Clubs supporters may join in and players wages and agents fees may stop rising. 👍

I'll be watching it from my Livingroom. I might walk to the kitchen after 30 minutes to make a cup of tea and not come back, to join the protest and show my support!

Perhaps just go down to the concourse and have a cup of tea and sneak back for the second half?

But that would put money in the club's tills...

... I'll bring a flask!!1

I hope this gets as much publicity throughout the Country. People need something to look forward to in these times of struggle. The Club says it is a caring Community Club. If it prices its fans out from going to matches, especially the young ones, then it is not acting like a Community Club. (y)

Hey up BumFace. Disagree that it’s pointless - if executed well then it should (in inverted commas) send a message to the club.

Everyone is going on about the £30 increase

But for me - someone without a season ticket - and who is looking to return north, nearer Teesside than I live now, it’s the price for new applicants. £70 more I believe.

I have no idea how this is justified. I find it incredibly off putting.
Football must be the only industry that makes harder/more expensive for new customers over existing ones

I get that it’s about loyalty

But surely the priority points, free drinks covers that.

Plus I was a season ticket holder for two periods - late 90s and again during the 00s under McClaren until circumstances dictated. So I would actually be a returning punter. All a bit daft.

I agree with RF statement and the way price increases are a way of life .. I will leave my armchair in my lounge on 30min and retreat to the kitchen .... Boro Live Season Pass Holder (Thialand) .... I will leave the match on the TV to add to the atmosphere
