They’re their own worst enemy. Is it any surprise the club has distanced themselves from them? Many are well meaning, but a small minority ruins it as usual. Coked up chavs who think they’re super fans.

I was at a FC Copenhagen game in August and they had them there.

That was a real Flare that today not a daft firework but an industrial ship style one designed for fog as the acrid smoke was so bad we could taste it in the north stand.

It stuck me as incredibly juvenile, like a bunch of 13 year olds thinking they have been clever. Quite embarrassing.

The security will be analysing the CCTV and I'd be very surprised if they cannot identify who had the flare. I also would not be surprised with a "blanket" ban* for everyone under the banner they used to try and conceal the guilty parties.

It was pretty apparent, looking at the every bright flare within about 2 inches of the banner, as to what the potential issue might have been.
