I'm sure the health & safety officer didn't .. if it's a life ban for entering the field of play, I expect the CCTV in the stadium will catch who ever was stupid enough to set something off that you would see from a ship or boat in the North Sea in distress (and then hide underneath the banner when the stewards turned up - how big was that of you!)

I also expect a press release from MFC in the not too distant future about this, I'm sure this will split the board as good as it looks it's simply not safe and one of the things that can result in a ban from the stadium (which I hope the club follow up on)

I did think it was incredibly self-indulgent to release a massive flare to celebrate their own birthday in a match we were losing.

Could smell it in the air for the rest of the match, I feel sorry for anyone near it who had breathing problems.

No issues with the pre-match display.

What happened like?

Let a flare off then hid under a banner. I was sat in the north and the smoke was pretty intense. I wouldn't want to be in the south or west with asthma.

As a side note, the banner on 15 mins was an epic fail.

They've built up a lot of goodwill from the club recently, who let them set up displays, use the stadium to paint their bigger banners, and even built them a drum platform. Wonder if they've burned their bridges now.

I’ve said this before. They’re right above the disabled section and those flares irritate my eyes and lungs from much further away. Don’t be surprised if the club stop all banners in future so they can’t hide next time.

It was front and centre of a 15 year display, it was definitely organised.
