Real Madrid

Great game that.

PSG should've been out of sight at HT. They battered City.

Fair play to City, second half they were much better.

Whatever Pep said at HT certainly worked.

KDB's goal was fortunate.

Mahrez's freekick was decent, but I think it's poor from the wall and the keeper more than a spectacular freekick.

Big ask for PSG to go to Etihad and score 2 without reply.

All English final beckons.

City needed Aguero - there were 3 or 4 chances in the 6 yard box he would have buried - nobody there!

Great game really enjoyed it

Didn't expect to enjoy that but it should make for a good game next week. Foden could/should have had a couple so I don't agree that City didn't create chances and compared to PSG they could have put the game out of reach. I missed probably the first half of the first half as I wasn't going to bother watching, but for me City had them penned in Neymar was missing in plain sight and Mbappe had a couple of runs, created that one chance for PSG where he flashed it across the box but that was it.

Interesting reading the comments back. I did really enjoy the match and thought it was one of the best matches Iā€™ve seen all season. Thought both sides did ok first half but PSG deserved the lead and then City really got it together second half. I think Linekerā€™s comments that it was best away performance by an English side was OTT but it was a good performance and a good match.

When it comes down to it I think I want City over Chelsea.

ā€œOne of the best performances, in an away leg, by an English sideā€ not that it was the best. Not sure if heā€™s thinking top 3,5,10,20,50 mind.

Could have 2 all-English European finals now like there was in 2019.

Could do, but I've got no issues with Roma or Villareal so I want them to knock out United and Arsenal because of this Super League farce.

By rights all 4 English sides should have been booted out the competitions, along with Real Madrid

Yeah I saw Lineker's tweet last night. Ridiculous to say it was one of the best away performances by an English side in an away leg.

It was good, but first half wasn't great. The result is obviously the most important though.

I can think of at least 10 performances away from home by an English side in a KO game that was better than City's performance last night.

It wasn't even the best away performance in Paris in a KO tie by a club from Manchester...

Fair play to City - very good second half performance against quality opposition. This one is definitely not done for me yet though.

Some of the PSG passing and movement in tight spaces is as good as anything I've ever seen. City press very well but so often last night one or two passes led to a ball into a player unmarked five yards away. Stunning.

City made the most of their opportunities in the second half. They dominated the ball but neither goal was a well worked goal. In fact they hardly created a great chance in open play.

I have no idea what happened to PSG in the second half. If the drop in performance was down to city tactics and endeavour. well done. If they just fell apart, and were the architects of their own doom, then city were at best OK.

I want man city to get knocked out, so I am a little biased, but not much, don't like either team.

As with all 2 legged affairs the fun is always the second leg.

I do get this weird feeling that its City's/Pep's time for some reason. Agree its not over but my money is on them. PSG will probably win it next year.
