Are the final 2 episodes of Season 2 on weekly release?

Please don’t say so!!

Only the first three episodes of season 2 were released together. The rest have been weekly. 12th and 19th of January for the last two episodes.

I have watched it but it ain't great very corny but it is an easy watch and you don't have to think about it too much which is grand sometimes

Exactly how I found it. Nothing particularly new or interesting and manages to hit almost every cliche in the book l, but a decent enough watch.

It's cliche ridden and unbelievable, but so are the books. For me it's an entertaining watch, and I know exactly what to expect when I tune in.

No different from James Bond or something, where you watch it for entertainment rather than because it's deep and meaningful.

If you ever watched and enjoyed films like Dirty Harry or other shooty-chasey cop films and shows then Reacher is the same "leave-your-brain-behind-the-sofa" stuff. I do get amused when people pick apart the "realism" it's not real, as someone pointed out if Reacher was real he'd be doing time for multiple homicides.

I've read all the books. I disliked the films because while not bad Cruise is not Reacher so they were just generic action films. The series is much more Reacher than the films and have been so far so good. All the corniness and Reacher being a superhero type things are exactly as they are in the book. They've been pretty good adaptations so far. I did prefer the 1st series, I think because Reacher didn't know anyone in the 1st series all the Reacher quirks need to be explained to everyone but the 2nd series has been people he's already known so some of that unfamiliarity has been replaced with banter and it's not as good. Will be interesting to see which book they choose for S3. They've already begun filming. Guessing it will be a new cast again which will hopefully be good.

The books are a strange phenomenon. As per previous comments, Reacher is a ridiculous character, a parody of a brooding action hero. Always the smartest, the best fighter and despite apparently being a bit of miserable sod, with minimal charisma, every single woman he meets can't wait to jump into bed with him.

Yet I've read several and there's no denying they're page turners. Just have to disengage brain a bit. Seen a couple of episodes of the series and got the impression it was pretty much the same.

Watching the series you realise how ridiculous some of Reacher's habits/opinions are. The best example is the clothes. In the books you don't really think about the clothes other than when he's there buying them but in the series it's fairly noticeable. He has to wear the same clothes in every scene no matter what the situation. Someone always buying new clothes and never changing is just a daft concept and he probably stinks given the amount of running around and fighting he does. He also doesn't use a phone or have a debit/credit card which makes paying for things really inconvenient, especially as the books were set when you could probably get away with it but it seems very strange in the updated setting.

My favourite skill of his though is his internal clock. He doesn't need an alarm clock or a watch as he always knows what time it is. It's such a ridiculous superpower to invent for a character when you could just give them a watch.

It's always been ridiculous but I still enjoy them.
