There are few players I'd pay that for but I think so if it came to it. Randolph is 15-20 points a season in this league. Build a good team in front of him you're an automatic promotion shout.
What happened?he did leave a load of "baggage" when he went, clubs Personnel Dept were busy boys for a few weeks.....
We sold him because he wanted to go & West Ham were willing to pay the asking price. No one was even remotely interested in paying anything for Britt & Fletcher hence we were stuck with them. Was great to have him.
A relief that we didn't have a goalkeeper 'problem' to solve for a while.
The pointless drama of Mejias (3 times!!!), Guzan, Bettinelli, Stoikavitch, Pears.
Its been a revolving door of poor players - apart from veteran Dimi who was the only one to show a bit of form.
Even Víctor Valdés felt like wasted resources - great experience but felt like he was just seeing out his last year with us.
Football can be cruel. Pretty much the only one of our recent 'big money' buys to have worked. So we sold him.
Didn't even profit in an inflationary market.
Kept hold of muppets like Britt and Fletcher for four long years
I felt that when we signed him , however his performances proved otherwise . We certainly could do with him now . The baggage around him is the only issueWe sold him because he wanted to go & West Ham were willing to pay the asking price. No one was even remotely interested in paying anything for Britt & Fletcher hence we were stuck with them.
I wouldn't have Randolph back in any circumstances - good shot stopper but always felt there was a calamity moment with him in every game.
I think it may be romantic in nature with a bit of a domestic thrown in but I'm not totally sure. What is this baggage?
bit of bother with a ladyWhat happened?
