Ramsey

£12 million not well spent, so far. I'm glad it wasn't our money. Although I'm sure he would've played a lot more games had he ended up with us.

He looks like being one of these players who, rather than picking up knocks and being out for a couple of games, picks up innocuous injuries and he's out for months.

Shame, he's a good player.

I think I would have been disappointed if we had spent 12 million on him in the summer.

He showed some glimpses of real ability but he had a lot niggles with us.

Shame for the lad, hope he has a speedy recovery

I'd not have been upset if we had signed him, but he was the key loan player I had the least interest in bringing back just because I thought he was going to be injury prone.

Hoping he's just having a run of bad luck and manages to get a long career, but they seem constant at the moment.

He was injured with us last season so with our current record he’d be guaranteed to be on the injured list. Atleast our cash was saved although we remain outside the top 6

I'm not sure "injury prone" is really a thing. Everyone gets injuries and some are unlucky to get a lot more than others and other people are lucky not to. I don't think past injuries are a reliable indicator of a future (different) injury. Plenty of players have a bad injury and then fully recovers and doesn't have another one and plenty of players have no bad injuries and then a career ending one.

There are a couple of exceptions. A recurring injury is obviously one that will keep happening but if the injuries are always different then that's just bad luck.

Boksic was injury prone for us but I'm fairly certain that was because he was unwilling to play rather than him actually being injured.

I think his influence was massively overstated. 11 appearances in a 46 game season.

I’m Exactly the same

To an extent, I'd agree, he was only decisive in a single point whilst he was here, most of his goal involvements came during hammerings where we'd have won without his goals and assists, but he did have good games for us.

It’s sad to see what’s happening to him. I wish Quavers all the best in his recovery

He was a pleasure to watch at times last season. Adapted very well to our team and kept other big players out of the starting 11.

Hope he recovers well.

I think 'injury prone' is a thing. Over the many years I've been watching football there's always been players that unfortunately suffered more than their fair share of injuries. He seems to be one such which is a great shame.

Rhys Williams and Mathew Bates had long periods of injury too. Hopefully Ramsey has better luck in future but he has had a few injuries for someone so young. I remember he only ended up here after his loan at Norwich ended early due to a knee operation being needed.
