If we're honest, we'd have all been happy at the time, had we signed him for £12m.
If we'd gone up I think we'd have signed all of the loanees on permanent deals (Mowatt and Muniz aside).
Difficult to predict how Steffen would have performed but after seeing how much Giles struggled, it's probably safe to say he'd have also struggled playing for us in the Premier League.
I think Archer probably would have had a better season playing for us in comparison to how he's performed with Sheff Utd, but I doubt he would have scored enough goals to help us survive.
