He's the best Chairman the club could ask for. He tries to support the managers as best he can and keep the fans happy, which isn't always an easy balancing act, Ultimately his loyalty to 'Boro is second to none. Local lad who really wants the best he can for the club. Gibbo is 'Boro and the other way round.

If he’d have supported him in the transfer market, we’d have had a great chance this season. Now it’s back to the drawing board!!

Absolute tosh he wouldn't even be in the top division of chairmen. Another mistake in the offing sacks warnock after not backing him and appoints a poorer replacement.
 
Its all too easy to attack Steve Gibson. He has taken us to places we may never have been to in the past, major finals, winning the Carling Cup, The UEFA cup final!! Some of the best managers and players in the country/world came here because of him.

What do people want? He was at one point bankrolling the club for a million pounds a month to keep it solvent! Not bad for a so called small town club in Yorkshire! Be careful for what you wish for.

Time will tell if wilder will be poorer than Warnock . I don’t think he’s the right fit but he comes highly regarded, and his last job was a cracking one
