I agree Pears is nowhere near the finished article and needs to improve but he does most of the basics better than the other 2 hes young hes come through the academy and hes cost nothing and could potentially be our number 1 for a long time. Also the fans can relate to him given his heritage as you have alluded to. I bet his Dad isnt happy with how hes been treated!

If we had signed a top quality keeper at this level and pears had to miss out then that's football but to chuck him for a dodgy at best on loan keeper for me that's rubbish. Really annoys me when academy players are overlooked for overrated players just because the club are paying them more money.
