Quality of Errea’s Kits

Look do you want quality or bespoke shirts, you can't have both

Bring back Hummel
It's not really bespoke though. Proper bespoke would be integrated into the design. Football kits always seem to be some base template with the bespoke bits ironed on. The iron on stuff is the budget way of doing things. For £60 is it too much to ask that the bespoke elements are part of the fabric or as a minimum it should be embroidered.

My new home shirt was damaged (snagging and fraying). They sent me a new one out, but to the wrong address. Then they sent another new one out. I have not opened the newest one yet but you do have statutory protections for quality of the product and Boro are very good at sorting stuff out for you.

Boro might be good at sorting this stuff out but the problem is they're only replacing it with another thats just as poor quality as the last one. The difference in quality between Errea and Adidas is huge. The club are still charging the premium prices though that's the issue.

Errea can do decent quality. I've had loads of shirts over the years and still wear them all for 5 a side. Some of the Adidas ones were equally terrible. Think the best quality kit we had was the league cup winning season. I still wear that regularly and it's in great condition. It's a much thicker material and the badges and sponsor were embroidered.

That was a good quality kit that one to be fair. Much better material that didn't click like others did so easily in previous years to that.

If there are all these known issues from many seasons before also, I suggest when someone gets a new shirt they don't treat it as a normal piece of 'laundry', despite what it says on any label.
Wash it on its own at 30 max in a washbag on a delicate cycle and put it on a manual spin cycle of no more than 800. Even consider putting a stud pin on each part of that badge where it thins out or fold the shirt over on itself so the badge is covered, and pin it. It will still wash , but the key to not clicking is making sure the shirt doesn't touch the metal of the drum.

Can someone send me a link for the unofficial shirts… I’m not paying £140 quid for that rubbish quality (2 kids)

Would also appreciate the link if possible - thanks.

Personally wish the club would go back to Adidas - my shirts from about 8 years ago are almost good as new.

The badge on the 03/04 season shirt wasn't embroidered. It was one of those cheap & nasty stick-on felt things.

I’ve got old errea gear still looking top notch and old adidas gear looking worse for wear..

Maybe I got a lot more seggs in the adidas gear?

I didnt mind this one you can tell these ones were better quality

Yeah that one was decent quality. Embroidered badge and the sponsor was part of the shirt fabric rather than glued on plastic.

Not quite sure why the quality varied so much one year to the next.

You'd think as the customer the club could specify that sort of thing though wouldn't you?

The thing is is , I feel absolutely awful keep complaining, they must think I’m a d*ck , but please look at the pictures, the sponsors and badges are a mile off centre. Are they all like this or is it just mine ?

You ought to feel awful Peter, we’d have been able to afford Giles if it wasn’t for you.
