They are so late in getting tickets out now it will deter a % from travelling, it happened at Derby last season as well as Swansea, I'm hopeful of getting tickets for the away end now.
Swansea away was a bit of a farce last season - we only sold 950 tickets, partly because they never really went on general sale. Not sure what the reason was. They are so late in getting tickets out now it will deter a % from travelling, it happened at Derby last season as well as Swansea, I'm hopeful of getting tickets for the away end now.
They turned up very late to be sent out in the post, and it was Easter the weekend before, so fans didn't take a chance that it might get to them in time, especially as you couldn't apply for GS until the Easter period so you are already losing several days of post, then you are waiting for the ticket office to come back to normal service the day after the HuddsTown game.So you have 3 daysfor them to get to you from being posted, not including the morning of the Saturday, if one sorting office gets hits by COVID then it's not going anywhere from that location, that is the reality of releasing tickets at the last moment.Swansea away was a bit of a farce last season - we only sold 950 tickets, partly because they never really went on general sale. Just rung the ticket office regarding QPR tickets, as yet they have no information hopefully more information on Monday and on sale later that week. That will be less than two weeks to the game, why are clubs leaving it so late to give clubs the tickets for away fansThey turned up very late to be sent out in the post, and it was Easter the weekend before, so fans didn't take a chance that it might get to them in time, especially as you couldn't apply for GS until the Easter period so you are already losing several days of post, then you are waiting for the ticket office to come back to normal service the day after the HuddsTown game.So you have 3 daysfor them to get to you from being posted, not including the morning of the Saturday, if one sorting office gets hits by COVID then it's not going anywhere from that location, that is the reality of releasing tickets at the last moment.
I think Swansea (with Easter Bank holidays) ended up being four working days for general sale!!12 days is fairly typical for an away game.
WBA home game it was effectively 9.5 days
They went on GS on Easter Friday, but with the ticket office not being open again to the Monday for the HuddsT match they didn't get to send the tickets out to the Tuesday.think Swansea (with Easter Bank holidays) ended up being four working days for general sale!!
