Q. What does the Labour Party stand for?

It's getting beyond parody this.

I understand some folk really buy in to the idea that it's not worth having policies until we're in the run up to a general election, but when they've been getting slated for not standing for anything for the last few weeks wouldn't it now be worth having something... anything... prepared to say in response to these questions?

It doesn't need to be a full manifesto or detailed or costed or anything. Just 2 or 3 bullet points that MPs can rifle back when they get asked what would the Labour party actually like to do in power.

Starmer's USP was meant to be competence wasn't it? At my work if I knew I was going to be asked something and I didn't have an answer ready that wouldn't be viewed as being particularly competent.

It's not even a tough line of questioning. It should be the perfect question for any politician. Here's a free hit, tell us about any policy you want to. Anything at all.
