Anyone managed to get one? Got one on preorder but it doesnt look like it will have any decent games at first
 
Not even tried. So much on the PS4 I've not done yet so happy with that for some time to come. I'll definitely get one at some point, but it will be after it's been out a while, when there's more games available, and the price point has dropped.

I did exactly the same going from PS3 to PS4

If I was gamer I’d of had one but have bought one on release since the ps3 .
Injust might get Apple glass on release though that could be a huge game changer for the games industry and more
 
I'm an Xbox man but won't be getting the new one for a while yet, still more than happy with my Xbox One. It's the first time new consoles have come out where I've not been fussed about getting the new one.
 
I'm waiting till after Christmas to get mine. Apparently Amazon are getting some in stock tomorrow so keep your eyes open if you are after one.
 
It’s a bit of a luxury atm with the work situation so I’ll leave it until next year. Always preferred Xbox but more impressed with PS this time around. Will pick up a PS5 when Gran Turismo and Horizon are out and Series X for Fable.

Same. I'm still throwing hours into GTA Online and look how old that game is now. Another massive update coming for it later this month too.

Waiting for my new TV then probs get the new Xbox later on next year once the price has dropped a bit and a better selection of games.
 
I never get new pieces of tech as they are always riddled with bugs. I tend to wait a year so they can iron out all the bugs and the price will be cheaper as well.
 
I’m going for it as I’ve only got a PS3 which works great but is a bit underwhelming especially when I play games with friends on the new generation of Xbox or PS4 — there’s a sizeable difference. Despite there being a lack of games for the PS5 you know that this will change soon plus you get the chance to be a guinea pig with the PS5.
 
I'd probably have bought one but didn't bother pre ordering so no chance.

I read yesterday that it could be March or April before you could pop into a shop and buy one. I think they are doing another pre order type thing in the next week or so for delivery by Xmas.

To he honest hardly any games and the usual 'bugs' and software issues being reported. You need 5 or 6 software updates to get things how they want them. It does have a 4k blueray capability so that's decent.

I would actually much prefer a black one. The white one isn't gonna look right in my gaff😂. I am sure a variety of colours will come in time so may wait.

Just go on ebay and see how shocking it is. They are going for £650+ with some people having 2-3 to sell..... C*nts🙄
 
Mine arrives tomorrow hopefully. Had my current PS4 since launch and not had a problem with it. I liked the last spiderman so looking forward to the new one
 
I'll get a P5 in a year or so after I've finished GTAV and MGS phantom pain. By the time I'm buying games for it I'll be paying a tenner from CEX. Getting a playstation as they got all the exclusives this gen.
 
Got the Xbox X through BT/EE as an employee and hoping to get the PS5 through them too. I was on the site this morning and I hope to have it here by December 15th :)
 
What is the series x like? I want to get it as soon as it comes back in stock.

The missus will kill me mind. Literally, the only thing she plays is Mortal Kombat

Its pretty decent, the ray tracing is great in Assassins Creed, its not as noticeable in COD due to the fast paced nature of the game. Im looking forward to the patch for Destiny 2 in December which will optimise the game for series X.

I think we will have to wait until next year before we really start to see some visually impressive games.

BTW the Quick resume and faster load times is nice!
 
ive been trying for a PS5 all morning with no joy need to do actual work now! if anyone finds any stock please post here and let me know
 
as others have said, no 'must play' games at launch so I'll wait, probably until the GTA V update comes out middle of next year
