Surely he can't get re-elected, can he?
Sadly, yes
Surely he can't get re-elected, can he?
Of course he can. If we can vote for something as evidently self destructive and unreasonable as brexit, based on a campaign of utter lies, then we could feasibly vote for anythingSurely he can't get re-elected, can he?
We are only one tweet away from Houtchen announcing the new Tees Monorail. Can't wait to see his 'unfeasability study' for a tunnel between Redcar and Hartlepool.
8 miles between them and he thinks the journey could be reduced to a couple of minutes. That's 240mph average speed!! Can't say he lacks ambition, but he is not one of the regions great thinkers.
No wonder the region is skint.

As much as you may think he’s bent and corrupt, a crossing closer to the mouth of the Tees is required. At rush hour it can take 30+ mins from Wolviston to cross the flyover. Removing Hartlepool & East Cleveland traffic from the flyover could and should make everyones journeys easier & quicker. It would also act as a relief road when the flyover is snarled up by accidents. Can't wait to see his 'unfeasability study' for a tunnel between Redcar and Hartlepool.

Which is why it’s been discussed multiple times over the years but the cost is just too high. He might as well announce a feasibility study into channel tunnel 2 from Teesside to Hamburg. Once it’s built, it would be transformational for the area but the budget will never be there for it. Of course he knows that but he’s banking on the idea winning a few votes and then being discarded after the election. As much as you may think he’s bent and corrupt, a crossing closer to the mouth of the Tees is required. I said yesterday we were one tweet away from Houtchen announcing a monorail. This is even worse.and here he goes. A new hospital is the cornerstone of his campaign.

This morning I launched my campaign for re-election as your Mayor.
The past 6 years have brought enormous progress across Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool, and we’re once again standing tall with new investment and jobs delivering a brighter future for our region
We’re now doing the things we could only have dreamed of ten years ago, but it’s vital we keep going to make our area even better, as there’s still lots to do.
To do this, we need to a new state of the art hospital to replace North Tees Hospital.
I will not leave this issue to politicians in Westminster, or in our local councils, to fix for any longer.
North Tees Hospital is not fit for purpose and our incredibly hardworking and dedicated NHS staff are being let down by the buildings they have to operate in. Enough is enough.
That’s why, If I’m elected in May, I will build a new hospital to replace North Tees
We have shown that no matter the size of the project, we are up to the task.
We promised to save the airport and we have
We promised to take back control of the Teesworks site and we have
We promised to bring steel making back to Teesside and we are
We promised to deliver real jobs and real investment to create local jobs for local people and we have
Armed with this record of delivery, the next promise I will deliver is a new hospital that local people deserve
He doesn't have the power or funding to build a new hospitali've had the "pleasure" of being in north tees this week and he is bang on that we need a new hospital. it is not fit for purpose in terms of layout and the age of the building. whether he can do it or not is the bigger question. it has been promised/needed for years
How many hospitals did the Tory central government promise and how many have been openedi've had the "pleasure" of being in north tees this week and he is bang on that we need a new hospital. it is not fit for purpose in terms of layout and the age of the building. whether he can do it or not is the bigger question. it has been promised/needed for years
How long ago? Techniques have changed. You don’t need a tunnelling device anymore. Land ownership changes.Which is why it’s been discussed multiple times over the years but the cost is just too high. He might as well announce a feasibility study into channel tunnel 2 from Teesside to Hamburg. Once it’s built, it would be transformational for the area but the budget will never be there for it. North Tees has been dropping to bits for years. It was in a shocking state 10 years ago when I went in to collect my mother's belongings after she died. The Wynyard hospital was ear marked for Musgraves land previously. Its needed. Hartlepool and north tees seem to be dropping to bits.
