Print at home tickets

I dunno, I've been to events all over the world with greater capacity than The Riverside and less staff. They've been fine with largely entry via phone. It's not like getting inside our ground is a nightmare, but it is behind the times.
Did you scan in yourself or did someone scan your phone with a gun reader ?
They have one steward per 4 turnstiles at the Riverside, that system simply wouldn't work.
I've never had any issues getting into the Riverside, just because someone can't be bothered to print a ticket or is too thick to follow instructions doesn't mean MFC should invest millions of pounds so phones can be used. I'd rather they spent the money on players....
Thanks 👍

I think a lot of fans would be very against this because it would be an ID Card. It could carry info about the individual that lots of us would not feel comfortable about.
What like your driving licence, we already have an abundance of ID, even bingo cards will have your details, people really need to stop panicking about this sort of thing.

If any investment is to be made in the group then surely it is to switch to a wider scanning area so phones can be used.

Print at home works, but it is an inconvenience, I’ve just bought tickets for today and preload wasn’t given as an option f(even though I got the cheaper SC rate offered).

Most people have smart phones and if they don’t then print at home collect or post.

You're welcome.

I love you dearly Nobs lad, but I'm grateful our world is not in your crayon stained hands or we'd all still be oiling up our mules for breakfast and whatnot.

Presumably such a card issued could easily include finger print/photo recognition etc ans then only you could access with the card, ie no shared, borrowed tickets.
