Prince William had Covid but guess what ?

I am a royalist to a certain level (not the hangers on), but this was an own goal, ridiculous comment to make. The more I see of that family though, the more my support wains. I appreciate the Queen and Phillip, but even my patience is in decline with what went on this last year.

Having said that I'm quite sceptical of the announcement coming out now. He's under 40, it was clearly never anything to worry about, but he reveals it now, why, to somehow scare the public into action? Like because the Prince had it we now have to be more scared? **** off. I don't even know why this is news.

He just worked throught it according to BBC which again highlights how strange the virus is. I can't work if I have flu, because I am so unwell but CV19 seems to be very mild for some people. I still think alot of people have had it in this country and don't know.

If we are running at 100,000 infections per day over 10m people in this country must have it or had it by now.

That was the latest estimate. One sixth of the population has probably had it, at a death rate of 0.5% of those who've had it.

Supposedly he worked from home using Zoom etc right through his infection and illness. As said it can't have affected him much. I still think a number of people don't understand CV19. For most people they don't know they have it or it is very mild, but for some reason a minority are very ill and struggle to breathe. Its not what we are used to hence people find it hard to fully take on board. It is also one of the most infectious viruses we have ever known.

The Daily Mail are quoting a fatality rae of 0.2% so we need to multiply the deaths in the UK by 500 to get the number infected. 46,000 times 500 = 23 million.

Well you could argue that about almost any case of annoyance.

Obviously, but it doesn't stop it being true.

Man catches coronavirus, follows protocols and doesn't announce it to the public.
That's the story.

Nothing to be annoyed about, but republicans will get annoyed by it like they do many minor things if there's royalty involved.

"He just worked throught it "- what does he do?

Indeed. But you're kind of stating the obvious.
