Prices in the club shop - Seem a bit steep?

Its no wonder people walk around in boro merch thats over 10 years old ie from the adidas or original errea eras.

Im proud of my team and wear my colours around Harrogate when im out and about shopping or on holiday and get the odd UTB but im in danger of becoming one of these people. I did buy hummel stuff but only when it was in the sale

My partner always asked at xmas and birthdays what to get me and i have to tell her straight i dont want any mfc clothing at full price as its not worth the money

How do you suggest they continue to function, and compete in the Championship. Or do you think it should just be Gibson pumping his personal money into it rather than the fans contributing too ?
Other Championship clubs seem to manage without fleecing fans, when it comes to cost of anything from tickets to replica shirts we’re always at the most expensive end.

I agree it’s steep but Well at least we can actually buy this one as Hummel didn’t bother selling the black spotted one the team wore.

I still wear my grey hoodie still the best thing the club have sold in years

On a bit of a side note. England cricket New Balance tech hoody, so not just a "normal" one. £55.

🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

That's what I do, can't remember the last time I bought something full price from the club shop. Even then I usually only buy training shorts at the end of the year if they're reasonably priced.

Unsurprising isn't it really with the price of tickets, everything at Boro costs a fortune.

Yeah same. Although didn't work very well with Hummel by the end due to the supply issues. Don't think you could buy most stuff at full price, never mind get it on sale.

You can get a hoodie for a tenner down doggy market. This is crazy pricing!

I think a few heads might explode if you see the wholesale costs or product costs.

Unfortunately you pay for brands, and most companies know this. If you want the brand, and the most up to date clobber it comes at a cost.

I wouldn't pay it, but i'm not the target audience. I suspect this is similar to a lot on here. If it was 40 I still wouldn't buy it.

I'm all for club maximising profits but the fact is if that green hoody was 50 quid I would have quite likely bought one. At 75, I won't, and by the sounds of it I'm far from alone in that. I can buy nicer ones for a lot less elsewhere.

Who needs a hoody in this weather. Wait till december it be half price by then in the sales
