Price of fuel

My local price is £147.9 for petrol. Anyone cheap enough to make going from Coulby worth it?

Hey you, get your head down and sort that wedding out. Are you using EV cars to transport the happy couple and bridesmaids?

Serious question- I’ve noticed a few cars plugged into adapters next to their caravans and tents, how does that work and who is paying for the electric? Said caravans and tents have 10 amp electric hook up.
Cheers man! Already done mate! The bride got to go in an EV. I had to make do with the best mans rattly diesel. Urgh the horrors. Smelling of black smoke on your wedding day.

Good question about campsites. As far as I'm aware, and I've done it myself once you just plug in and get the electricity. It's in with the plot. Same as the caravan you hook up. Pretty neat huh? Free holiday fuel!

Plenty on here plugging in and getting a free charge. This was one of my previous concerns but another one wiped off.

You will have to see FragranceGuy for a nice bit of cologne to mask the diesel fumes. 🤣🤣🤣

You have to imagine they will either stop that or charge more for the electricity.

Nice while you get it though.

Yeah they simply must do mustn't they? Fuel duty makes sense. But... it'll be tough to police for home charging, how do you know I'm not just making a lot of cups of tea?

good job you weren't charging at a motorway service station, it seem like 73p per Kwh is the going rate. Similar I guess to the fact that petrol is also more expensive at a service station.
Paid 36p Tesla super charger at hopwood south of Brum… it was 69p with gridserve… prices have recently dropped from about 44p

The campsite I was on categorically told me not to charge my car on my plot…
I was tempted but he was a decent guy and it was a small site…

he did offer £25 a charge but it was generally cheaper at the Tesla stations…

On Teesside the Tesco on Dixons Bank is usually one of the cheapest for petrol. I often use the Shell @ Tudor Garage or Tesco on the Trunk road. 2 weeks ago it was 140.9p @ Tesco. Morrisons at Berwick Hills can be cheap and they somtimes give discounts if you spend £35 in the main shop.

BP on Ormesby High Street & Tudor Lodge (Shell) have been the cheapest locally for months but currently Morrisons at Berwick Hills is 2p a litre cheaper for diesel - and every 1000 litres or so you get a £5 voucher

Fuel prices for up. The response from some is go out and spend 10-15-20k+ on an EV. A bit drastic over a 2p a litre price rise😂
