Pretty good midweek for Boro

Blackburn lost - would have been above us
Millwall keep Leeds in check - Millwall in false position and not a threat
Sunderland drop points
Norwich lose - they could have been above us
Watford lose - only one point ahead instead of 4
Only Sheff Utd winning (could have done with a draw) went against us.

I don’t worry about other teams at this stage of the season. We know statistically what sort of points haul is required for playoffs or automatics. It’s up to us to get over the line.
 
I like how we play Luton @ lunchtime on Saturday after they played tonight and won.

Leeds losing, Sunderland dropped points again were good results.

Sheff United was disappointing with their late win.

Burnley and WBA to play each other tomorrow night.
 
Luton is pivotal. It’s still early in the season but a win would do wonders for us. A defeat or another laboured performance would be far from ideal going into an international break. I wouldn’t want a fortnight of stewing on another game that’s been allowed to drift away. We need to win and win well imo. It could really set us up.

Yep. I want to see us take maximum points in the rest of November. The way we play is all about confidence. Need to go on a run.
 
There doesn’t seem any really poor teams in the Championship this year. Even Portsmouth and QPR, who seem to be drifting away in the bottom 2 have only lost 6 and 7 games out of 14. They have drew a lot though.
 
Carried away again. 🫣 when will this nonsense stop.
All we need to do is win our own games. Results have been inconsistent all season so we shall see.
 
Zero expectations for tomorrow. Just not sure which version of Boro will turn up.
