Premier League

I have to admit i had mixed feelings about it. After our run to the playoffs i really wanted us to finish the job, but yeah it's tough to watch when youre getting beat every week. I also enjoy the lack of VAR in the championship

I'm not desperate to play in the premier League but I do want to go up.

The championship is a far more competitive league in that anyone can realistically beat anyone else on their day. I think that's what it should be about and the prem is too lopsided these days.

But you've got to give it a crack haven't you? A lot of my best memories as a fan are beating the "big clubs". I think that's a lot of what supporting a side Boro is all about.

Worse case scenario is we come down with parachute payments and go again in the more competitive league. As long as we don't do a "Monk" it's all good.

The prem is tough as you need an owner who will go spend 50+ million on talent. Burnley Luton and Sheffield United didn't see to sign many players with Premier league experience they mainly bought players that done very well in the championship.

Challenging at the top end of any league is better than being battered every other week but what’s the point supporting a team if you don’t want the chance to prove yourselves at the highest level possible?

Have Brentford been found out? I don't by any stretch feel that they would get relegated but they got beat again today and don't seem to be putting the results together they did last season.

They will be missing Toneys goals. Expect them to stay up though as Luton Burnley Sheffield Unie Ed Bournemouth Everton are alot worse
