I mean not “ slag” us off as such but stated he didn’t like it over here and wanted to go back to Italy or Spain. Stated the obvious about the huge divide in the dressing room

Congrats didn’t realise you lot had already been promoted some achievement in February mind 💋💋💋💋
Actually if you read the thread you’ll see we are talking about if. How would you like Sunderland’s recruitment to be if you went up?

His main moan was about coffee wasn't it? Don't think he said much else.

Crystal Palace. We beat them home and away comfortably under Mowbray and yet they ended up making quite the home for themselves in the top tier.
Touche Mr potato.
They are however the only example.
I always expect them to go down but they hang on in there.

I think premier league experience will be an important factor.

I'm not talking lots of them, but 2 or 3 past-their-best, model professional types of proven PL quality would be important. PL experience was something we badly lacked last time.

It might not be flashy or exciting. However, I'd recall that the Dad's Army side of 98/99 got us to our 2nd highest ever PL finish, and set us up for a decade in the top flight.

I think a combination of some experienced free agents and some fringe players from the top sides.. sound see us right.
