Frustrating, but not unexpected. Can't think of many/any forwards who have signed for another Championship club where I've thought "....why didn't we sign him".
Expect a signing and a couple of loans later in the window - which, if they are better players than just spaffing £7-8-9m on a player NOW because we are panicking , I'm cool with. Long, brutal season ahead so getting the right players in for 42 games.......
